Job summary

Kaluza is seeking a Security Operations Lead to manage and grow the Security Operations function across the UK and Australia. You’ll own incident response, threat hunting, and monitoring, working with cross‑functional teams in Platform & Security Engineering.

You will define KPIs, drive automation, and help ensure compliance and governance in a rapidly evolving AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and mentoring engineers or operations specialists.
• Incident response leadership experience.
• Experience in threat intelligence and hunting in cloud-native environments.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and similar frameworks.
• Interest in AI security risks such as model abuse and data exfiltration.
• Familiarity with modern security operations tooling.
• Experience automating repeatable processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a Security Operations team across UK and Australia.
• Develop incident response processes, AI-focused playbooks, and run exercises.
• Hunt threats proactively; coordinate with testers to close gaps.
• Own security monitoring and tooling, SIEM/EDR, and automation.
• Define and report Security Operations KPIs and KRIs to leadership.
• Support audits, compliance, and governance with Legal and Privacy.
