Job Description:

One of the UK’s leading infrastructure clients is seeking a SOC Analyst to enhance cyber and infrastructure security across their organization.

The Information Security Systems Engineer will work across multiple business functions, managing security systems, responding to threats, and supporting IT projects.

• Deploying and maintaining security tools and controls
• Monitoring systems, responding to incidents and vulnerabilities
• Supporting audits, risk assessments, and compliance efforts
• Managing firewalls, antivirus, encryption, and cloud security platforms
• Collaborating with IT, operations, and third-party partners

Required skills and responsibilities include:

• 5+ years in IT/security roles
• A recognized security qualification (e.g., CISMP, GSEC, or Level 4+ apprenticeship)
• Strong IT background with hands-on experience in security tools
• Excellent communication and self-management skills
• Flexibility to travel across the UK
• Familiarity with ISMS, NIS, GDPR, and ITIL frameworks
• Experience in engineering, operations, or finance-related environments

This role requires onsite presence at their Southampton office, with 3 days per week onsite.
