Job summary

Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB) is seeking a Security Operations Analyst to maintain confidentiality, availability and integrity of information systems. You will identify and mitigate risks through security systems management and incident handling.

Role requires rapid response and remediation of incidents, forensic capabilities, and liaison across technical groups. Hybrid in Milton Keynes with 2 days in office weekly; 35-hour week; 1 start-up allowance of £320.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable exposure to cyber incident response.
• Experience in IT Security/IT Operations or equivalent.
• Thorough understanding of cyber threat landscape and risks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security systems, services and defenses at MIB.
• Rapid response, detection, isolation and remediation of information security incidents.
• Work with problem management on mitigation and incident prevention.
• Maintain forensic capabilities for root-cause containment and eradication of threats.
• Provide security-focused technical support and consultancy to IS teams.
