Job summary

Consultora Excelsior in Basildon is seeking Security Officers to protect property and people through patrolling and CCTV monitoring. Permanent roles available with day, night and weekend shifts. You can choose day or nights plus weekends, with pay of £19.50/hour (day), £22.50/hour (night) and £25.50/hour (weekends).

Weekly pay every Friday and 45–60 hours per week guaranteed. A joining bonus of £3,000 is paid on 5 January 2026.

Qualifications

• Observational ability to notice threats or suspicious behavior.
• Clear, effective written and verbal communication for reporting.
• Strong problem-solving and quick decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to de-escalate tense situations and resolve disturbances.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing: Regularly inspect buildings, perimeters, and access points.

• Controlling Access: Check IDs, log entries, and regulate access to restricted areas.
• Responding to Incidents: Investigate alarms, handle emergencies, take action.
• Enforcing Regulations: Ensure compliance with security policies and resolve disturbances.

FULL AND PART TIME SECURITY OFFICERS NEEDED FOR WORK IN BASILDON.

Protecting property and people by patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, and controlling access to buildings

Permanent work offered.

Day , night and weekend shifts available

Day shifts 8 am till 6 pm or 8 am till 8 pm paying £19.50 hour

Night shifts 8 pm till 8 am paying £22.50 hour

Weekends and overtime paid at £25.50 hour

We pay weekly every Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
• Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
• Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
