Job summary

Warehousing Solutions Ltd is seeking multiple full-time security officers to start at Heathrow Airport. Permanent roles with day, night and weekend shifts available; you can choose to work days or nights plus weekends.

Day shifts are 8 am to 8 pm at £19.50 per hour, night shifts 8 pm to 8 am at £22.50 per hour, with weekends and overtime paid at £25.50 per hour. Weekly pay is issued every Friday, and 45–60 hours per week are guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Observational skills to notice potential threats or suspicious activity.
• Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, for reporting and interacting with others.
• Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and secure buildings, perimeters and access points to keep areas safe.
• Monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems to identify threats or unusual activity.
• Check IDs, log entries and regulate access to restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and emergencies with appropriate action.
• Enforce security policies and procedures and resolve disturbances.
• Maintain logs, write incident reports and communicate irregularities to relevant staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
• Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
• Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
