Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting Aviation Security Officers for a client based in Glasgow. Enjoy a pay rate of £13.50 per hour with 4 on 2 off shifts in a role observing and ensuring compliance with CAA regulations across security procedures for an airline operation outside Glasgow Airport.

Primary duties include access control, item searches, document checks, and secure transport, with training provided and potential for permanent position after a successful trial period.

Qualifications

• Willing to apply for a Criminal Record Check (paid by us) & provide 5-year history
• Full 5-year checkable history
• In-date and valid photo ID required (passport, driving licence, ID card)
• Willingness to attend Aviation Security Training Courses
• Must have resided in the UK during the last 3 years & be willing to complete a Counter Terrorism Check (paid for by us)
• Must be 18 years of age or older

The Best Connection are excited to be recruiting for a number of Airport Security Officers for our client based in Glasgow.

• Shifts: 4 on 2 off
• Location: PA3 2SG

The role of the Airport Security Officer will involve carrying out security procedures for an operation outside of Glasgow Airport for one of their international airlines and ensuring all security measures are being followed. Your main location of work will be with one of our catering providers. However you may be required to work with different areas such as the Baggage Handlers, Customer Care Teams, Cargo Handlers, Check In staff. Please note the job is to observe only and check the work being carried out is being done correctly and to CAA regulations.

Aviation Security Officers will also be responsible for the following:

• Working in the access control area, monitoring items due to go onboard aircrafts
• Searching and checking of items due to go onboard aircrafts
• Completing document checks for items due to go onboard aircrafts
• Answering security questionsHelp transport items securely
• Working mainly in a food production environment

Please note: Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following:

• Be willing to apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!)
