Job summary

Consultora Excelsior is seeking a number of full-time security officers to start at Gatwick Airport. Permanent, with day, night and weekend shifts available. 45-60 hours per week guaranteed. Weekly pay every Friday. Day shifts £22.50/hour; night shifts £25.50/hour; weekends/OT £28.50/hour.

Applicants will patrol and secure facilities, monitor surveillance systems, control access, respond to incidents, enforce regulations, and maintain detailed logs and incident reports.

Qualifications

• Observational skills to notice threats or suspicious behaviour.
• Clear written and verbal communication for reporting and interaction.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions.
• Ability to de-escalate tense situations and find peaceful solutions.
• Familiarity with security equipment and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing buildings, perimeters and access points.
• Monitoring CCTV and other security systems for threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling access by checking IDs and logging entries/exits.
• Responding to incidents, investigating alarms and emergencies.
• Enforcing security policies and resolving disturbances.
• Reporting and documenting irregularities in logs and reports.

Job description

We are looking for a number of full time security officers to start work at Gatwick AirportASAP.

Permanent work offered.

Day , night and weekend shifts available

You can choose to work days or just nights + weekends

Day shifts 8 am till 6 pm or 8 am till 8 pm paying £22.50 hour

Night shifts 8 pm till 8 am paying £25.50 hour

Weekends and overtime paid at £28.50 hour

We pay weekly every Friday.

45-60 hours per week guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling and Securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
• Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
• Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
• Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
