Job summary

Consultora Excelsior is seeking a number of full-time security officers to start at Gatwick Airport. Permanent work offered with day, night and weekend shifts. You can choose to work days or just nights plus weekends. Day shifts 8:00–18:00 or 8:00–20:00 at £19.50 per hour.

Night shifts 20:00–08:00 at £22.50 per hour. Weekends and overtime paid at £25.50 per hour. Weekly pay every Friday and 45–60 hours per week guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Ability to notice potential threats or suspicious behaviour.
• Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.
• Quickly assess situations and make sound decisions.
• De-escalate tense situations and resolve conflicts.
• Familiarity with security equipment and basic IT apps.
• Able to patrol, stand for long periods and handle physical tasks.
• Maintain a calm, courteous and professional presence.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points.
• Monitoring CCTV and other security systems to identify threats.
• Controlling access by checking IDs and logging entries.
• Responding to alarms and incidents with appropriate action.
• Enforcing security policies and resolving disturbances.
• Reporting incidents and documenting irregularities.

Night shifts 8 pm till 8 am paying £22.50 hour

Weekends and overtime paid at £25.50 hour

We pay weekly every Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling and Securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
• Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
• Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
• Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
