Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Security Officer for a well-known site at Harwell, Didcot, on a full-time basis with rotating days and nights. The role includes meeting staff and visitors, patrolling, incident handling and a variety of security duties across gatehouse, reception and control room tasks.

Training is provided if SIA licence is not already held. The position requires a full, clean UK driving licence and your own transport, with eligibility for vetting checks which may take several weeks.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over.
• Full, clean UK driving license and own transport required.
• Vetting checks are required and can take several weeks; SIA licence training provided if not held.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting staff and visitors and ensuring adherence to security protocols.
• Conducting searches where required.
• Patrolling the premises to safeguard people and property.
• Dealing with security incidents and writing incident reports.
• Carrying out gatehouse, reception and control room duties as needed.
