Role Overview

Security Officers support the Supervisor to ensure a safe working environment, prevent loss/damage to company property, and complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all security policies
• Patrol the site regularly to prevent unauthorized access and safeguard company property
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and company policies
• Conduct staff searches according to current procedures
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times
• Perform other activities as required by the business
• Manage staff/contractors/visitor check-ins
• Ensure proper booking and management of equipment and vehicles

Skills And Experience

• Experience with health and safety requirements
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
• Team player with supportive attitude
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to respond quickly and positively in a fast-paced environment
• Security industry experience (desirable)
• Knowledge of legal powers related to detaining offenders (desirable)
