About The Role

An exciting opportunity to work alongside one of our most prestigious clients has arisen. Bidvest Noonan is seeking to hire Security Officers to work at the Ulster University Belfast Campus.

This role is suitable for individuals committed to providing excellent customer service, organized, energetic, and proactive in their responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our client’s premises, providing full protection to the site, along with other security duties.

Location of work:

• Ulster University Belfast Campus

Hours of Work:

• Permanent
• Shifts 2 out of 7 days
• 12-hour shifts
• Day and night shifts
• Holiday and absence cover

Rate of pay:

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Reinforce our vision to always be our clients’ “partner of choice”;
• Ensure the safety and security of client premises and surrounding areas by conducting internal and external patrols and permitting only authorized personnel;
• Operate CCTV cameras proactively to identify suspicious activity and record evidential footage if necessary;
• Report security incidents or system failures to Line Management and identify potential risks or concerns;
• Comply with SIA, company, and client operating procedures, working practices, and protocols;
• Contribute to achieving strategic and operational targets and overall business goals;
• Provide professional customer service to ensure total satisfaction;
• Respond to first aid needs;
• Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Criteria:

• SIA Door Supervisor/Manned Guarding License (required)
• CCTV License (required within 3 months)
• Valid UK Driving License (required)
• First Aid certification (preferred)
