Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer in Speke, Merseyside to provide a safe environment for staff and visitors. You will apply thorough access control, carry out site inductions, patrols and other duties as directed by Assignment Instructions.

You will work a 56-hour week in a 3 days/3 nights/3 off rotation (06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00). The role emphasises professionalism, vigilance and compliance with safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
• A valid SIA CCTV License - desirable.
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
• Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Vetting to BS7858 Standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain surveillance of the site with patrols and record-keeping.
• Brief and sign in visitors and contractors; manage site entry/exit.
• Process delivery paperwork in line with procedures.
• Ensure patrols are conducted to required standards.
• Set and unset alarm systems for out-of-hours security.
• Complete daily logs, handovers and incident records.
• Follow Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments; advise on improvements.
• Maintain training records and keep First Aid/Fire Marshal training up to date.
• Apply SIA skills with professionalism and display licence at all times.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
