Main Purpose of Role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the role holder will be responsible for delivering security services for our client and for the day-to-day protection of persons and property. They will ensure that exceptional service levels are provided and will carry out security processes and procedures in accordance with our policies, vision, and credo.

PEOPLE FIRST

• Be a role model for a positive attitude and respect for colleagues, clients, and customers;
• Carry out security activities to the standards confirmed in the site specification and trained and defined by the SIA;
• React to incidents or events to ensure safety, in line with training, client requirements, and company policies;
• Maintain proactive communication with internal and external customers, responding appropriately to feedback.

THE BASICS

• Reinforce our vision to be our clients’ “partner of choice”;
• Ensure the safety and security of client premises and surrounding areas through patrols and access control;
• Operate CCTV cameras proactively to identify suspicious activity and capture evidential footage if required;
• Report suspicious items or activities;
• Maintain logs of incidents and provide reports to the Contract Manager;
• Inform management of security occurrences or system failures, and report potential risks;
• Maintain, operate, and test security equipment, reporting failures or performance issues;
• Comply with SIA, company, and client procedures, practices, and protocols;
• Complete mandatory SIA training successfully;
• Adhere to performance standards to meet client and customer expectations;
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements;
• Contribute to strategic and operational targets and overall business aims.
