Salary: £43,212 + Company Benefits

Working hours: Shift Pattern - 5 out of 7 days, nights & weekends

Contract Type: Permanent Full Time

Role Overview: Relief security officer required to cover various operational sites assisting with Access Control, ID Checks, patrolling, and other gatehouse duties as required.

Role Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a positive commitment to high customer service, professional presentation, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Display excellent situational awareness.
  • Facilitate access/egress to building(s) while maintaining high client-facing and customer service skills.
  • Be aware of protest and demonstration activity and respond/escalate as appropriate.
  • Assist staff, guests, contractors, and public bodies with passing information, giving directions, or responding to queries professionally.
  • Follow all operating procedures diligently.
  • Assist during major incidents as instructed.
  • Always display your SIA licence while on duty.
  • Maintain accurate logs and submit reports as instructed.
  • Participate in staff welfare or development programs and mandatory training.
  • Use communication tools (radio/phones) confidently and clearly.
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests as required.

  • Clearance to BS7858
  • SIA Licence – Security Guard (SG)
  • SIA Licence – Door Supervisor (DS) (if applicable)
  • SIA Licence – CCTV (if applicable)
  • First aid qualification

  • Experience with IT software (Word, Teams, Outlook)
