Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is recruiting a Security Officer for the Sizewell C site in Ipswich. The role requires an SIA licence, a driving licence, and own transport to access the site.

We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well-known site in Ipswich!

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £15.03 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 42 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday, 06:00am - 18:00pm or 07:00am -19:00pm

Applicants must have an SIA Licence, a Driving Licence and own transport to get to the site.

As a Security Officer your duties include:

• Greeting staff and visitors
• Controlling access in and out of the building
• Patrolling the premises and ensuring security protocols are being adhered to
• Dealing with disturbances/ issues and security incidents
• Dealing with first aid and incident reporting

What we are looking for:

• To be aged 18 or over
• To preferably hold a valid Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License
• Be a great communicator, verbally and written
• To have great customer service skills
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office platforms
