Job summary

Securitas UK is hiring a Security Officer at a major energy facility in the UK. You will patrol, control access, and respond to incidents, helping keep people and property safe while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll work 42 hours per week on day and night rotations, with full UK driving licence and an SIA licence required. Training and ongoing development are provided, with a range of benefits for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and report-writing skills.
• Good IT literacy and confidence using security management systems.
• Flexible approach to shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass required screening and vetting processes.
• Experience in gatehouse operations, access control, patrols, or emergency response is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Patrols of key areas and gatehouse duties to ensure safety and security.
• Manage access control, visitor management, and incident response.
• Maintain site safety, security, and compliance at a critical infrastructure location.
• Delivering high-quality customer service while following security protocols.
• Engage with employees, contractors, and visitors and report incidents accurately.
