Security Officers Wanted for Birmingham

Location: Birmingham

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday, Saturday to Sunday, 4 on 4 off shift basis

Pay Rate: £22.56 to £24.40 per hour

Role Overview and Purpose

The Security Officer will ensure exemplary standards of security and customer service are always provided to the client and visitors. The role involves acting as the public face of the security team with professionalism. A proactive attitude is essential.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver first-class guest-focused service each time.
• Work as part of a team to meet guest needs and support all departments.
• Conduct regular patrols as per site instructions, staying proactive.
• Assist visitors proactively and help wherever opportunities arise.
• Manage incidents according to site policies and procedures.
• Liaise with the control room and react promptly to incidents, keeping colleagues informed.
• Monitor human behavior, surveillance, and log incidents per company policies.
• Maintain vigilance against unauthorized access.
• Adhere to radio procedures at all times.
• Collaborate closely with environmental services to deliver unified service.
