Job summary

Warehousing Solutions Ltd is hiring a Security Officer to cover day, night and weekend shifts in Leicester. A £3,000 joining bonus is offered with weekly pay and 45–60 hours per week guaranteed.

You will patrol, secure perimeters, monitor CCTV, control access, respond to incidents, enforce regulations and document activities. Candidates should be observant, communicative, physically fit and professional.

Qualifications

• Clear and effective written/verbal communication for reporting
• Ability to quickly assess situations and decide
• Ability to de-escalate tense situations and resolve issues
• Familiarity with security equipment and basic computer apps
• Ability to patrol, stand for long periods and handle physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing premises, inspecting buildings and access points
• Monitoring CCTV and security systems for threats
• Controlling access by checking IDs and logging entries
• Responding to alarms, emergencies and safety concerns
• Enforcing security policies and resolving disturbances
• Maintaining logs and incident reports, communicating irregularities
