Responsibilities

• Performs one-to-one and close observation of patients in collaboration with Patient Care Services.
• Conducts interior and exterior patrols to inspect grounds for criminal activity and safety hazards.
• Provides one-to-one patient observation for at‑risk patients to keep everyone safe.
• Records and reports security and safety incidents.
• Provides safety escorts upon request and enforces parking regulations.
• Investigates lost or stolen items and alarms; responds immediately to emergencies.
• Reacts to emergency codes until parties are safe or the situation is resolved.
• Supports shuttle services and transports staff as needed.
• Transports bodies to the morgue and manages documentation.

Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
