Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Security Officer for a permanent, full-time role in Bradford. The position operates on a 4 on/4 off pattern with two day shifts (06:00–18:00) and two night shifts (18:00–06:00), totaling 42 hours per week.

You will manage the weighbridge, control site access, and serve as the first point of contact during emergencies. Applicants must hold a valid SIA Security Guard/Doors Supervisor licence and SIA CCTV licence, be at least 25, and have a UK driving licence for at least two

Responsibilities

• Conduct site patrols (on foot and by vehicle using the E360 system), lockups/openings, and respond to ad hoc security requests.
• Monitor CCTV, investigate incidents, compile reports, and prepare evidence packs as required.
• Manage access control, including badge issuing, badge making, and visitor checks.
• Carry out emergency response tasks and liaise with client personnel during incidents.
• Perform equipment audits, car park monitoring, and handle incoming calls professionally.

About the role

We are seeking a professional and reliableSecurity Officerto join our team, responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment on site. The role will involve managing the weighbridge, controlling site access, and acting as the first point of contact during any emergency situations, liaising directly with client personnel as required. You will also be expected to complete all site-specific security and client documentation in line with Assignment Instructions and local procedures.

• Comply with all Assignment Instructions, company standards, uniform/dress code, health & safety policies, and participate in required training/inductions.
