Job summary

Sodexo on site in the United Kingdom requires a professional Security Officer to maintain a safe environment. You will manage the weighbridge, control site access, and act as the first point of contact during emergencies, liaising directly with client personnel.

Responsibilities include patrolling on foot and by vehicle, monitoring CCTV, issuing badges, visitor checks, and maintaining site documentation per procedures. A valid SIA licence and UK driving licence are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Mandatory SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor licence.
• Mandatory SIA CCTV Licence.
• Minimum 25 years of age.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site patrols (on foot and by vehicle using the E360 system).
• Monitor CCTV, investigate incidents, compile reports, and prepare evidence packs.
• Manage access control, including badge issuing, badge making, and visitor checks.
• Carry out emergency response tasks and liaise with client personnel during incidents.
• Perform equipment audits, car park monitoring, and handle incoming calls professionally.
• Comply with all Assignment Instructions, company standards, uniform/dress code, health & safety policies, and participate in required training/inductions.
• Respond to ad hoc security requests.

You will also be expected to complete all site-specific security and client documentation in line with Assignment Instructions and local procedures.,

• Monitor CCTV, investigate incidents, compile reports, and prepare evidence packs as required.
• Manage access control, including badge issuing, badge making, and visitor checks.
• Carry out emergency response tasks and liaise with client personnel during incidents.
• Perform equipment audits, car park monitoring, and handle incoming calls professionally.
