Job summary

Wockhardt UK Limited in Wrexham is seeking an experienced Security Officer to join our in-house Security team. You will support day-to-day security operations, respond to incidents, and help maintain a safe environment for colleagues, visitors, and contractors on our MHRA-approved sterile injectable manufacturing site.

The role involves 12-hour shifts on a 4-on/4-off rota. You will work with a professional, customer-focused team, using strong communication skills and good computer literacy, with

• Previous experience in a Security role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, approachable and customer-focused manner.
• Ability to remain calm and work effectively in a busy environment.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word.
• Self-motivated, reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of security and customer service.
• SIA licence would be advantageous.

We’re looking for a motivated, reliable and professional Security Officer to join our in-house Security team. Working 12 hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 0ff basis, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our colleagues, visitors and contractors.

A day in the life of a Security Officer

Reporting to the Security Manager, you’ll work as part of our dedicated in-house Security team, providing an effective, efficient and customer-focused security service to both internal and external customers.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the day-to-day security operation of the site, responding appropriately to incidents and ensuring security procedures and standards are consistently maintained.

You’ll be expected to provide a professional, approachable and helpful service , while remaining vigilant and confident when dealing with security-related situations.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

As part of your development within the role, you’ll also receive training to become a First Aider on site , giving you the opportunity to develop additional skills that are valuable within both the Security team and the wider organisation.
