Job summary

Mitie is hiring a Security Relief Officer to support sites in Winchester. You will maintain a professional presence, greet visitors, manage IDs, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and respond to incidents with a calm, customer-focused approach.

This role requires SIA licensing, knowledge of health and safety law, strong teamwork and communication, and flexibility to cover shifts. Benefits include flexible benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence - Door Supervision or Security Guarding – Essential.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Criminal and Civil Law awareness.
• Police and Criminal Evidence Act familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional presence, be attentive and approachable.
• Welcome clients and visitors and manage ID badges.
• Operate phones, emails, IT systems, CCTV, alarm systems and access control.
• Monitor suspicious activity and potential criminal behaviour.
• Record, report and escalate incidents to the Account Manager.

Job Type: Full-Time 42 hours per week (12 hour shift)

Shift Rota: As per availability and requirement.

Main Duties
