Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a professional Security Officer to join our team at the Walsall distribution centre. The role covers controlling vehicle access, guarding the gatehouse, logging incidents, and maintaining site security in line with policies.

You will liaise with management, drivers, and visitors, and respond to emergencies while staying compliant with health and safety standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using computer-based systems.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and motivated Security Officer to join our team working on W&D centres

• Managing vehicle access and egress, including deliveries and collections.
