Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a proactive Security Officer for an M&S Basingstoke Festival Place store. You will uphold a visible security presence, deliver exceptional customer service, and protect people and products in a busy retail environment.

SIA license is required, and prior security experience is essential. The role offers a structured environment with training and career growth opportunities, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible and professional security presence within store
• Delivering world class customer service to customers and colleagues
• Helping prevent loss, theft and anti-social behaviour
• Using store technology including body-worn cameras and mobile reporting systems
• Responding calmly and professionally to incidents and emergencies
• Maintaining a safe environment by identifying and reporting hazards
• Supporting compliance with company policies and legal requirements
