Job summary

B&M Retail Limited in Exeter is hiring a Retail Security Officer committed to safeguarding customers and stock while delivering a welcoming shopping experience. As a full-time, permanent member of the store team, you will monitor incidents, operate CCTV, support health and safety procedures and engage calmly with colleagues and customers to resolve situations effectively.

You’ll work daytime, evening and weekend shifts as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitoring the store to identify, prevent and report incidents.

• Conducting investigations into stock loss, theft and fraud
• Engaging with customers and colleagues to resolve situations calmly and effectively

Are you a confident and professional Retail Security Officer? Do you enjoy safeguarding people, products, and store environments while delivering a welcoming customer experience?

Join our team in Exeter and make a real difference!

In this role, you'll be trusted with responsibility and play a vital role in safeguarding the store. Working closely with the Store Management Team, you'll help prevent loss, manage risk and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.

This is a full-time, permanent role with flexibility to work across daytime, evening and weekend shifts - ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and being an integral part of the store team.

What you'll be doing

• Actively monitoring the store to identify, prevent and report incidents
