Job summary

First Response Group (FRG) is recruiting Security Officers to safeguard client premises and maintain a secure environment. You will patrol, monitor entrances and provide a professional presence to visitors and staff, while reporting incidents and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• SIA licence valid for security work.
• Driver's licence required or preferred.
• First Aid certification is advantageous.
• CSCS card is desirable for site access.
• Full 5-year history check or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and monitoring to detect intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Access control including visitor checks and passes.
• Responding to alarms, incidents and emergencies.
• Delivering professional customer service to staff and visitors.
• Maintaining accurate incident logs and handover reports.
• Observing health and safety and reporting hazards.

About the Role

• Patrolling & Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols to detect signs of intrusion, damage, or suspicious behaviour.
• Access Control: Monitor entrances and exits, check passes, and authorise visitors.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, following established procedures.
• Customer Service: Provide a welcoming, professional presence and assist visitors, staff, and contractors as needed.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate logs and incident reports for handover and compliance purposes.
• Health & Safety: Observe and report any hazards, ensuring a safe environment at all times.
