Job description

Logistics People are recruiting a Security Officer on behalf of Logistics Security to join our team.

Location: Minsterley, SY5 0BN

Shift Pattern: Saturday and Sunday 07:00 - 19:00 (minimum 24 hours per week). Additional shifts covering annual leave and supporting sites in Telford TF2 7GJ and Market Drayton TF3 9SQ will be available.

Pay Rate: GBP 12.21 per hour

Training will be provided.

We work with over 200 extensively trained Security Personnel during peak periods and focus on developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies across more than 50 sites in the UK, ensuring smooth operations 24/7.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer to join our team, working within our Warehouse and Distribution depots, supporting our existing clients. You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high-quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Access and Egress Control
• Reception Duties: Signing in Visitors/Contractors and answering the phone
• Monitoring CCTV
• Accepting Deliveries
• Weighbridge Operation
• Key Control

• UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Flexible and able to work a mixture of shifts, sometimes at short notice
• SIA License required
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Maintain high personal presentation standards
• Be punctual and reliable to ensure team effectiveness

• Computer literate, able to use Office365 including Excel and email
