Job summary

GUK is seeking a proactive Security Officer to safeguard clients through access control, friendly visitor reception, and routine patrols. You will contribute to incident reporting, safety procedures, and frontline protections, delivering reliable service in a retail environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and readiness to learn with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Proof of right to work.
• SIA licence (preferred).
• SIA CCTV preferred.
• Experience of composing emails and preparing incident reports.
• Proactively uses initiative to recognise priorities within own workload.
• Problem solving.
• First Aid at Work.
• 2 Years experience at working in the retail Sector.

Responsibilities

• Access control, greeting visitors, regular patrols, and completing the daily occurrence book.
• Maintain high standards of safety and customer service.
• Provide reliable reporting and incident documentation.
• Support security operations to protect people and property.
• Collaborate with team to safeguard client venues.

Job role

Working with us at GUK, we value you more than just a security guard. You will be responsible for providing safety to the public

with Patrols, creating access passes and using your experience of who can gain access. Your flexibility and experience will create

a rapport with our high-end clients to deliver excellence.

The role is critical to ensure our operational day-to-day frontline services work like clockwork. A typical day for someone who

is self-motivated could include access control, greeting visitors, regular patrols, and completing the daily occurrence book.

You are an individual who communicates well, have a strong sense for reliability and understand the importance of being smartly

always presented in uniform. Also, you would need to be proactive and always willing to learn.

You will receive full training and we are looking for motivated individuals who will make a measurable contribution to the

continued success of GUK.

Ideal Experience:
