As a Security Officer with ISS, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe environment, protecting your colleagues and our customer's property, people, and assets by providing exemplary security operations.

The Role

Access and Egress Control

• Authenticate right of access for all personnel and visitors
• Prevent unauthorised entry to restricted areas

Patrolling

• Conduct regular internal and external patrols
• Undertake inspections in line with Assignment Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and the Premises Security Manual

Emergency Response

• Assist in all emergency incidents as required
• Administer first aid when necessary

Surveillance and Monitoring

• Support operations in the Security Control Room
• Monitor CCTV systems and coordinate responses to incidents or breaches

Customer Service and Support

• Greet and assist visitors and staff professionally
• Provide guidance and ensure all relevant security procedures are followed

Health & Safety Compliance

• Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety policies and procedures

Incident Management and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of incidents and security breaches
• Report and document all unusual or suspicious activity

Administrative Duties

• Manage on-site security-related administration effectively

About You

• Previous security experience
• A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA license
• Ability to gain BPSS and SC clearance
• Fully comprehensive 5-year work/education history
• Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
• Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
• A team player with good customer service skills
• New recruits will be encouraged to enrol onto the relevant apprenticeship as part of their training and development
