Argenbright Security Europe Limited (ASEL), part of Argenbright Holdings Group, is seeking a front of house security officer in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role combines reception duties with core security tasks, requiring flexibility, reliability and a proactive approach.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA licence and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills while upholding high professional standards at all times.

Hours: **35.5 hours
Shift pattern: ** 37.5 hours per week Mon to Fri, 0630hrs to 1400hrs

We are currently seeking a professional and customer-focused front of house security officer to join our team.This is a core positionproviding cover for sickness, blowouts, holiday, and other ad-hoc requirements across our site.
The role combines front-of-house reception responsibilities with core security duties, and requires flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach.
Additional hours and shifts may be available across other sites within our portfolio for successful applicants, offering the potential for regular ongoing work

We believe that the best approach to deterring criminal activity is to understand the vulnerabilities and risk of each location, and bespoke our approach to effectively reduce risk. As a Security Officer, you will be required to provide a visible deterrence, respond to incidents, complete incident reports and collaborate with the local authorities.

To be an effective Security Officer, you will need to be a confident communicator as you will be required to provide detailed verbal and written accounts of criminal activity. You will need to be welcoming and patient with customers, and able to handle conflict in a professional manner.
You must have a valid SIA licence to apply for this role. Previous experience of working in a Retail Security Role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
