Job summary

Equans is seeking a Security Officer for our site at 9 Maxim Park, Eurocentral, Motherwell. This permanent, full-time role offers 42 hours per week on a 12-hour shift pattern (4 on/4 off) with rotating days and nights, and occasional site coverage in Eurocentral and Bathgate.

You will patrol, monitor access, CCTV and alarms, maintain incident records, and support emergency procedures across our sites. The role requires a valid SIA licence, attention to detail, solid customer service, driving

Job description

Equans is looking for a Security Officer to join our team based out of 9 Maxim Park, Eurocentral, Motherwell, ML1 4WQ on a permanent basis. This is a full time position working 42 hours per week.

On offer is a salary of £12.71 per hour and benefits package.

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts 4 on / 4 off rota. Rotating days and nights. Flexibility is required, as you may occasionally support nearby sites in Eurocentral and Bathgate.

What will you deliver?

As a Security Officer, you will help create a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets across our sites.

• Patrolling and monitoring site areas to identify and prevent risks
• Controlling site access and supporting visitors
• Monitoring CCTV, alarms, and security systems
• Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting emergency situations and following procedures
• Working with colleagues and external services when required
