Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrols:Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity, ensure safety, and maintain order.
• Reception Duties:Manage the reception area, welcoming visitors and ensuring they are signed in and provided with necessary information.
• Meet and Greet:Greet employees and visitors with a professional demeanor, providing assistance as needed and ensuring a positive first impression.
• Staff Queries:Address and resolve staff inquiries related to security policies, procedures, and general information, ensuring effective communication.
• Incident Reporting:Document and report any incidents, safety hazards, or breaches of security, maintaining accurate records for follow-up.
• Emergency Response:Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, coordinating with emergency services as necessary.
• Surveillance Monitoring:Utilize security systems and cameras to monitor the premises, ensuring a proactive approach to security.

• Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, visitors, and emergency services.
• Computer Skills:Proficient in using computer systems for reporting, monitoring, and accessing security software.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA Licence.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Have a five-year check able employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
• Must be within a reasonable commuting distance.
