2 Sisters Food Group is seeking a Security Officer to patrol premises and respond to security incidents at our site in Mid Devon. The role involves monitoring access controls, investigating suspicious activity, and ensuring health and safety standards are upheld throughout production.
You will need strong English skills and at least 1 year of security experience, with opportunities for overtime and staff discounts. Immediate starts are possible with on-site facilities available.

Your main responsibilities for a Security Officer include:
Product quality is everyone’s responsibility, and the highest standards of quality must be maintained throughout all stages of the manufacturing process.
In your specific role this includes carrying out tasks in line with documented procedures and ensuring the products that we produce meet customer specifications.
You will consistently refer to the relevant customer specification sheets to ensure that the portions / products that are being packed are in accordance with the agreed weight and size parameters and that there are no visible quality issues with the product e.g. excessive bruising, poor cutting standards, bone fragments, or excess fat
You are responsible for identifying and reporting any product defects or deviations to specifications and removing those products from the line. This should also include a root cause analysis to help identify what caused the quality issue. You will also coach others to ensure they fully understand and adhere to the relevant customer specification sheets
