Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd is hiring a Security Officer for Moss Industrial Estate (WN7 3GP). The role covers gatehouse duties, visitor liaison, access control, patrols and CCTV monitoring to ensure security across the estate.

The ideal candidate holds a valid SIA licence and a 5-year work history, with strong English communication and a professional, calm demeanor for incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Manning the gatehouse at the entrance of Moss Industrial Estate.
• Acting as the main point of contact for visitors, contractors and tenants.
• Controlling vehicle and pedestrian access and patrolling the site.
• Responding promptly to incidents and monitoring CCTV footage.
• Producing accurate incident reports and site records.
• Assisting the client in maintaining a safe working environment.

Days: Monday to Friday

Shift: 08:00 - 17:00

Pay Rate: £13.60 per hour

Role Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a professional and customer-focused Security Officer to join the team at Moss Industrial Estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for manning the gatehouse, providing a welcoming customer service experience, conducting site patrols, responding to incidents, and monitoring CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of the estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Manning the gatehouse at the entrance of the industrial estate.
• Acting as the main customer service point for visitors, contractors, and tenants.
• Monitoring and controlling vehicle and pedestrian access.
• Carrying out regular and random patrols throughout the shift.
• Responding promptly and professionally to incidents and security concerns.
• Monitoring CCTV systems and reviewing footage when requested by the client.
• Maintaining accurate incident reports and site documentation.
• Reporting any suspicious activity, security breaches, or health and safety concerns.
• Supporting the client in maintaining a safe and secure working environment.

Essential Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence.
• Full 5-year checkable employment history.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good written and verbal English skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Reliable, professional, and well‑presented.
• Strong observational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with incidents.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience within gatehouse or industrial estate security.
• CCTV monitoring experience.
• Experience completing incident reports and site records.
• Knowledge of access control procedures.
• Experience working within industrial, logistics, warehousing, or commercial environments.
