Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to welcome employees and visitors, monitor fire and security systems, and perform patrols to safeguard the site. You’ll ensure tasks are completed professionally and in compliance with legislation, while maintaining clear incident records and acting on emergencies.

The role requires an SIA licence, the right to work in the UK, and a professional demeanour with strong communication and reliability.

About The Role:

Working Pattern

5 out of 7. 12 hour shifts starting at 0700 and nightshifts starting at 1900. Dayshifts 0730-1830, Sundays 1030-1730 include 12 hour shifts.

As a Security Officer, you will be the first line of support for employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service. You will be responsible for monitoring fire, security, and building systems, ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner, and in compliance with relevant legislation

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Act as a first line support to employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service

  • Ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner, meeting relevant legislation
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises
  • Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and activities
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure comprehensive coverage
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • Experience of working within the Security Industry is an advantage
