Role overview:

This role involves carrying out daily tasks as specified to ensure a safe and secure environment for visitors and staff, while providing excellent customer service.

What you'll do:

  • Demonstrate a positive commitment to customer service, professional presentation, and confidentiality.
  • Facilitate access/egress to building(s) with high customer service standards.
  • Be aware of protest and demonstration activity and respond/escalate appropriately.
  • Assist staff, guests, contractors, and public bodies with information, directions, or queries professionally.
  • Follow all operating procedures diligently.
  • Assist during major incidents as instructed.
  • Display your SIA licence visibly while on duty.
  • Maintain accurate records/logs and submit reports as required.
  • Participate in staff welfare, development programmes, and mandatory training.
  • Use communication tools (radio/phones) confidently and clearly.
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests as required.

  • SIA Licence – Door Supervisor (DS) (if applicable)
  • SIA Licence – CCTV (if applicable)
  • First aid qualification

  • Experience with IT software (Word, Teams, Outlook)
  • Reliable, punctual, approachable
