Job summary

Securitas UK is recruiting a Security Officer in Glenrothes to protect people and property while delivering exceptional customer service. The role offers comprehensive training, shift flexibility (days/nights), and progression opportunities within a diverse team at a major security provider.

The post requires a valid SIA licence, fitness for patrols, and eligibility to work in the UK with a five-year residency history. On-site parking and benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Active Patrols: Regularly patrol designated areas to deter suspicious activity and maintain safety.
• Thorough Searches: Conduct detailed searches following company policies to keep restricted areas safe.
• Detailed Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork related to incidents and observations.
• Effective Communication: Coordinate with colleagues, supervisors and external authorities to report incidents.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to employees, visitors, and guests.

Location: Glenrothes, UK
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 56hrs per week on average - days and nights, 3 days, 3 nights 3 off

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Active Patrols: Regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity. Your vigilance will ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone
• Thorough Searches: Conduct detailed searches, following our comprehensive company policies and procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail will help keep our restricted areas safe

• Effective Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and various external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses to security issues
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy
