Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a vigilant security professional for on-site coverage on a 4-on-4-off day/night shift pattern. You will record activities, monitor CCTV, and ensure safety and security across client premises. The role requires a current SIA licence and strong presentation.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undergo BS7858 screening. Computer literacy and excellent interpersonal skills are essential for interaction with staff and visitors at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Recording of vehicles, visitors and contractors and maintain a site daily occurrence record.
• Monitor site visually and via CCTV, be familiar with CCTV and site security systems, and respond to alerts as required.
• Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client’s premises.
• Maintain a professional security presence throughout the site.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policy and management plans.

About The Role

Working Pattern

4 On and 4 Off (Day and Night shifts)

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Recording of vehicles, visitors and contractors as well as all site activities maintaining accurate records and a site daily occurrence record
• Monitor site visually and via CCTV and be fully conversant with the CCTV and site electronic security systems responding to alerts and alarms as required
• Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client’s premises in accordance with the assignment Instructions
• To show a professional security presence throughout the site
• To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company’s Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety Management plans

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
• You will be required to undergo screening and vetting (BS7858)
• SIA licensed essential
• Computer literate
• Able to interact at all levels from visitors to senior management.
• High standards of personal presentation
