Job summary

G4S are recruiting a Security Officer to join a well known site at Mossmorran, on a 4 on 4 off pattern. You will be responsible for access control, incident response, patrols, and safeguarding client assets.

A valid SIA licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding) and CCTV qualification are required, with a full UK driving licence. You must be able to work day and night shifts, be computer literate, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Hold an in date SIA Licence.
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
• Hold a First Aid Qualification including Defib.
• Have good interpersonal skills.
• Be computer literate.
• Be able to work as part of a team or as a lone worker depending on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site security integrity and safety.
• Control of access and egress to site.
• Operate site-specific access control IT systems.
• Conduct vehicle and personal searches.
• Respond to security incidents as per site instructions.
• Respond to emergencies as per site instructions.
• Undertake mobile and foot patrols to protect client assets and fenceline.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in Mossmorran.

Contract Information

• Pay Rate: £13.88 per hour
• Hours:06.00- 18.00
• Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating pattern

SIA Licence: Door Supervisor or Security Guarding + CCTV licence.

Your Time at Work

• Maintain Integrity of Site Security and Safety.
• Control of access and egress to site.
• Operate site specific access control IT systems.
• Conduct vehicle and personal searches.
• Respond to all security incidents as per site specific assignment Instructions.
• Respond to all emergency situations as per site specific assignment Instructions.
• Report all incidents as per site specific assignment Instructions.Conduct Mobile and Foot Patrols.
• Undertake external mobile security patrols to ensure integrity of area of responsibility. Undertake internal foot patrols to ensure integrity of client assets and fenceline.

Our Perfect Worker

• Hold an in date SIA Licence.
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
• Hold a First Aid Qualification including Defib.
• Have good interpersonal skills.
• Be computer literate.
• Be able to work as part of a team or as a lone worker depending on operational requirements.
• Maintain a working shift pattern of 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights) with a degree of flexibility required to cover operational exigencies.

Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
