Vigilant Security are looking for driven individuals to join our existing team on a full-time, permanent contract. This position may suit someone who has previous experience within the industry, or anyone with the right attitude and personality looking to start a new career path.

The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team and will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operation requirements within the control room, whist maintaining high standards of professionalism at all times.

We offer a competitive rate of pay - Additional hours if required will be available

Key Tasks

Understand and adhere to the strategic direction of the client.

To monitor the CCTV, fire, and security systems, ensuring that all processes are adhered to including Key Management and associated reports.

Ensuring CCTV systems are utilised, the code of practice and processes are observed, and the Data Protection Act 2018 is followed to ensure electronic patrols are effective and system use is optimised.

Support the continual development of working practises and maintain an excellent knowledge of all sites.

Ensure no unauthorised persons allowed within prohibited areas including Control Room.

Ensure radios are fully charged and booked out correctly.

Promote clear and concise communication skills.

Provide a professional first impression whist being responsive and detail oriented.

Be seen as a visible customer focused professional by being proactive and greet visitors where possible.

Ensure that the standards of presentation set by the client are always met.

Complete a full detailed handover at the end of each shift including reporting and any associated paperwork.

Ensure that all H&S policies are adhered to.

Report and maintain an accurate record of any incidents that may occur.

Schedule

Days Monday to Friday (08:45-16:45)

Must be Flexible.

Skills/Experience Required

Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure and work within strict time limits.

Always maintain and practice a high degree of confidentiality.

Provide support to the wider team when required.

Professional, flexible, enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated team player.

Ability to work independently using own initiative when required.

Consistently well presented in line with company/client standards.

IT literacy would be an advantage.

Clear, concise, confident communication and administration skills.

Reliable with excellent time-management skills.

Customer Care Awareness.

Experience in technical systems is desirable but not essential.

Fully comprehensive 5-year work/education history.
