Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities team as a Security Officer. This post will be based at Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny.
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who is committed to enhancing the patient & customer experience, therefore you must have a passion for providing a high level of customer service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
The post holder will be responsible for providing a comprehensive security service to the Health Board. This will include protecting patients, visitors, staff and assets against all acts of crime and other risks.
To respond promptly to and take action to resolve security related incidents in line with approved role responsibilities and processes.
To actively seek information/intelligence associated with criminal offences committed and to identify suspects and trends.
