Job summary

OCS is seeking a security officer for a site in Aberdeen. The role involves recording vehicles, visitors and contractors, monitoring the site with CCTV, and conducting regular patrols to maintain safety and security.

About The Role:

Shift Pattern: Varied,Site open shift 6am-3pm, 9am-6pm, 10am-7pm and Site lock up shift 10.30am-7.30pm

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Recording of vehicles, visitors and contractors as well as all site activities maintaining accurate records and a site daily occurrence record
• Monitor site visually and via CCTV and be fully conversant with the CCTV and site electronic security systems responding to alerts and alarms as required
• Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client’s premises in accordance with the assignment Instructions
• To show a professional security presence throughout the site
• To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company’s Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety Management plans

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
• You will be required to undergo screening and vetting (BS7858)
• SIA licensed essential
• Computer literate
• Able to interact at all levels from visitors to senior management.
• High standards of personal presentation
