Qualifications

• 5+ years in network engineering or infrastructure architecture
• Experience with enterprise firewall architectures and threat detection
• Understanding of DevSecOps and IaC workflows
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, least-privilege access, or network segmentation
• Cloud networking across AWS/Azure/GCP and hybrid connectivity
• Ability to communicate governance frameworks to diverse audiences
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and configuration management

Responsibilities

• Lead secure network design for on‑prem and hybrid cloud environments
• Define segmentation, Zero Trust models, and resilient architectures
• Develop and govern network security policies and compliance frameworks
• Build runbooks, decision trees, and architectural standards
• Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, DDoS mitigation, and monitoring
• Lead security hardening and patching for network appliances
• Mentor engineers and promote a secure-by-default culture
• Collaborate to enable secure CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices
• Oversee cloud governance controls and cross‑account networking
• Own incident response for critical infrastructure events and post-mortems
