Job description

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity working on an established and prestigious Transport for London account based in Neasden with a Pan London responsibility. The London Underground contract is a 24/7, 365-day operation requiring the mobile supervisor to lead, motivate and develop the security team to provide a best-in-class service to the client's premises and its occupiers. The mobile supervisors will provide effective site compliance through effective management of the operational team to ensure they are effective in all aspects of physical security, incident management, and health and safety. They will be the primary point of contact for the LU central operation team, Mitie management team, and Emergency services. The role operates on a 4 on 4 off day shift, 42.5 hours/week, with an hourly rate of £17.19.

Main Duties
  1. Visit sites in accordance with regulations.
  2. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Site Security Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies.
  3. Complete all tasks and duties as defined by role specifications.
  4. Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements.
  5. Ensure site officers are trained and compliant, testing knowledge and ability.
  6. Carry out patrols as stipulated within the AI's.
  7. Complete site visits as required.
  8. Support sites with investigations and reports.
  9. Escalate incidents/issues where required.
  10. Conduct welfare, 121 & RTW meetings.
  11. Perform site compliance audits.
Training
  1. Complete all required competency training.
  2. Undertake additional training as directed by the Line Manager.
  3. FORS training.
  4. Undertake additional training for continuous self-development as directed by the Security Account Manager.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  1. Full driving license with minimum 12 months driving experience.
  2. 5 years' experience within the security industry.
  3. SIA license.
  4. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  5. Good report writing skills.
  6. Ability to learn various systems and implement that knowledge.
  7. Ability to pass a drug and alcohol medical.
  8. Must pass Sentinel, IWA, and PWT assessments.
  9. Ability to maintain a friendly approach to staff while maintaining a managerial outlook.
  10. Have or ability to pass an IOSH certification.
  11. Use technology to achieve objectives and develop job knowledge.
  12. Ensure license renewal 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
  1. Report health and safety hazards immediately.
  2. Stay alert to threats or changes in the environment.
  3. Use common sense and involve others if situations become threatening.
  4. Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations.
  5. Complete detailed incident reports promptly.
  6. Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment.
  7. Carry out check calls as per AI instructions.
  8. Report incidents to emergency services and Communication Centre.
