About The Role

Location: Barnham, West Sussex PO22 0AA – covering West Sussex and surrounding areas

Hourly Rate: £12.60

Shift Pattern: You must be able to work Saturday Day and Sunday Day, followed by 7 consecutive night shifts, then 7 days off. The pattern then continues with another 7 night shifts and 5 days off. This rolling shift pattern includes Bank Holidays.

This is a mobile role – company vehicle provided

We are urgently seeking a Security Mobile Response Officer to join our dynamic team at Atlas Security – the dedicated security arm of the Atlas FM Group. Launched in 2021, Atlas Security is one of the UK’s fastest-growing security companies and part of a 100% employee-owned business.

As a Mobile Response Officer, you will be the frontline of our security services. You'll respond swiftly to alarm activations, carry out patrols, and provide lock/unlock services at customer premises in line with Assignment Instructions. You’ll also support escort and access requests and ensure all actions are recorded accurately. A company vehicle will be provided for all shifts, and you’ll play a key part in ensuring the safety of our clients’ properties and the public.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding efficiently to alarm activations via our Call Centre

• Providing mobile patrol, lock & unlock, escort, and access services

• Following emergency escalation procedures where needed

• Completing accurate incident and job reports

• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and projecting a professional image

• Ensuring strict confidentiality and key security at all times

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Hold a valid SIA Licence (or be willing to complete training)

• Have a full clean UK driving licence

• Have a good level of written and spoken English

• Demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and reliability

• Be comfortable working independently and under pressure

• Project a smart and professional appearance at all times
