Job Description:

Equans is looking for a Night Security Mobile Patrol Officer to join our team, working on the Southern Water contracts in Otterbourne, SO21 2SW, on a permanent basis. This role involves working 42 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary along with an attractive benefits package. Please note, you will be employed by Equans, supporting their Southern Water contracts.

Shift Pattern:

4 on 4 off Night shift, 7pm - 7am

Position Overview:

The Security Mobile Patrol Officer is responsible for providing mobile security services across various sites around the Otterbourne and Testwood Southern Water sites under the company's control. This role involves patrolling, responding to incidents, key holding, visitor and vehicle management. The officer will be required to travel between different company contracts to provide a seamless and professional service. The role demands a flexible and proactive approach to security operations while ensuring the safety and security of all locations, assets, and personnel. The role involves physically patrolling in varying environments, including long periods of driving and walking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile Patrols: Conduct regular mobile patrols to ensure safety and security, monitoring for breaches, suspicious activities, or maintenance issues.
• Incident Response: Respond to alarms, breaches, or emergencies, following procedures to mitigate risks.
• Call-Out Response: Be available for out-of-hours call-outs for emergencies or incidents.
• Covering Security Positions: Provide temporary cover for other security roles as needed.
• Key Holding: Manage key holding duties, including unlocking and securing premises and responding to out-of-hours calls.
• Site Coverage: Ensure security standards across various sites.
• Transportation: Transport items, documents, or individuals securely between sites, following protocols.

Requirements:

• Full clean driving license for at least 2 years
• SIA Door Supervision or Security Guard License
• Physical fitness
• Ability to work flexibly and enthusiastically
• Strong communication skills, oral and written
• Experience with security systems and communication tools
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and drive to remote locations
• Previous experience in mobile patrol or response security roles
• First Aid, Fire Safety, or other relevant security training
• Experience in high-security environments
