One of our most exciting growth areas is VPN, and Tom's Guide is seeking a dynamic and experienced Security Managing Editor to lead our VPN vertical. This senior role is ideal for a talented individual passionate about cybersecurity, data privacy, and technology journalism.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief VPN & HTW, you'll lead our rapidly expanding VPN vertical. You will manage a team of two journalists, drive content strategy, and ensure Tom's Guide remains the top destination for VPN advice and information.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
  • Experience in a senior editorial role, such as managing editor, section editor, or senior editor within digital publishing focused on technology or security journalism
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush)

The expected salary range for this role is £33,000 - £50,000.

This is a hybrid role based in our Bath office, requiring three days in the office and two from home.
