Job summary

Securitas Prestwick is seeking a dedicated STARS Site Security Manager to oversee security operations at a premier client site. You will lead a professional team, ensure safety, and maintain high standards of service for staff, visitors and property.

Key responsibilities include risk assessments, incident management, and regulatory compliance, while building strong relationships with clients and external partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in an operational leadership or service delivery role.
• Valid SIA Front Line Licence or eligible to obtain one.
• Experience coordinating across multiple departments and clients.
• Ability to obtain National Security Clearance.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong leadership and ability to coach and mentor.
• Experience managing complex contracts.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and experienced STARSSite Security Manager to lead the delivery of security services across a high-profile site. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, assets, and operations through effective leadership, risk management, and operational oversight. The successful candidate will drive high standards of service, maintain regulatory compliance, and lead a professional security team in delivering a safe and secure environment for all site users.

• Lead and manage all site security operations, ensuring the effective delivery of security services and contractual requirements.
• Provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to the security team, promoting a culture of professionalism, accountability, and excellence.
• Develop and implement security procedures, policies, and best practices to maintain a safe and secure site environment.
• Conduct security risk assessments and identify opportunities to strengthen security measures and mitigate potential threats.
• Oversee incident management processes, ensuring all security incidents are investigated, reported, and resolved effectively.
• Manage site security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarms, and other security technologies.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders, contractors, emergency services, and external agencies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies, industry standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Monitor performance, analyse security data and trends, and produce reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead emergency response planning and coordinate appropriate actions during critical incidents and business continuity events.
• Carry out any other duties as directed by the Account Manager

Qualifications

Core Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience coordinating operational processes across complex environments involving multiple departments, clients, or contracted partners.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across organisational boundaries.
• Skilled in interpreting and using system data and assurance outputs to inform service improvements and maintain compliance.
• Understanding of integrated systems and their role in supporting procedural delivery, risk control, and accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivateteams or functional units to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Experience working within a security-conscious, compliance-driven, or infrastructure-controlled environment.
• Minimum 5years’ experience in an operational leadership or service delivery role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident working across multiple digital platforms and business systems.
• Holdsa valid SIA Front Line Licence or is wiling and eligible to obtain one.
