Job summary

Babcock in Rosyth, Scotland, is seeking a Security Manager to safeguard one of the UK's critical defence and marine engineering environments. You will lead physical security, information management and compliance with government requirements, advising senior leaders and shaping security operations across the site.

This high-profile role requires at least five years in security leadership, experience with government standards, and the ability to work with regulated contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Government security standards.
• Experience operating within a highly regulated environment subject to legislation and compliance requirements.
• A minimum of five years' experience within a relevant security management or security leadership role.
• Experience managing physical security operations, personnel or contracted security services.
• Experience interpreting and implementing security policies within defence, government or similarly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Leading all aspects of physical security across the Rosyth Business Park site.
• Advising management teams on the interpretation and implementation of security requirements for classified contracts.
• Managing systems and processes that protect classified documents, materials and sensitive information.
• Overseeing the Security and Emergency Response Team to ensure an effective and efficient security service.
• Coordinating visitor management services and site-wide security activities while maintaining compliance with government standards.
